See the exact H3 Max credit cost for 5–15 second 480P and 768P videos, and learn how many drafts or finished clips each workflow can produce.

On AI Live Generator, H3 Max cost depends on only two settings: video duration and resolution. The Generate button shows the exact credit total before a request is submitted.

Credit formula

  • 480P: 1 credit per output second.
  • 768P: 2 credits per output second.
credit cost = duration in seconds × credits per second for the selected resolution

A lower-cost iteration workflow

  1. Test the composition with a five-second 480P generation.
  2. Change one major variable at a time: action, camera, reference frame, or prompt expansion.
  3. Use 768P only after the direction works.
  4. Keep the final prompt and settings so you can create a controlled variation rather than starting over.

This approach usually produces more useful comparisons than spending all credits on the first high-resolution attempt.

What happens when generation fails?

Credits are reserved before the provider job begins. If the provider confirms a terminal generation failure or content-policy rejection, the current application logic returns the reserved credits. A rejected prompt does not create a usable video, and the interface explains why the request must be revised.

Temporary status-check errors are different from a confirmed provider failure. The system continues to rely on the task and webhook state instead of assuming that every network error means the generation failed.

Credits and payment

Credit packs and any active pricing are displayed on the pricing page. Use the figures shown at checkout as the current commercial terms; third-party H3 Max sites may use different credit units, discounts, or provider costs and are not directly comparable.
